What we collect

• Account info (if you sign up): email and authentication details managed by Supabase.
• Profile info: your username and optional country.
• Content you submit: snacks you add, ratings, comments, and edits.
• Abuse prevention data: we use Cloudflare Turnstile to help block spam and bots. For anonymous actions (like comments), the app may store a privacy-preserving hash of your IP to enforce rate limits.
• Basic usage/diagnostics: we use Vercel Speed Insights to help understand and improve performance.

How we use it

• Operate the app (create accounts, show your profile, display snacks and activity).
• Moderation and security (spam prevention, rate limiting, protecting the service).
• Improve the product (performance and reliability).

Cookies & local storage

SnackDB uses cookies and/or local storage for things like session state and caching (for example, to speed up navigation and reduce repeated requests). You can clear these through your browser settings.

Sharing

We don’t sell your personal information. Data may be processed by our infrastructure providers (for example: Supabase for database/auth and Vercel for hosting/analytics) to run the app.

Your choices

• You can update your profile details in the app.
• You can sign out at any time.
• You can contact us if you have questions or want help with your data.
